-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
stompAIDS Challenge 2007 is a competition that requires participants to create an innovative marketing campaign to raise HIV awareness among their peers. Participants will have to form teams and send in proposals on how best to reach out to their peers Ten teams will be shortlisted from the entries and these will then implement their ideas in their respective school campuses. The winning team stands to walk away with $10,000. The runner-up will receive $5,000 while the winning team for the 3rd prize will get $3,000.
In addition, each of the 10 selected teams will receive up to $3,000 to execute their proposals within their campus. This is a rare opportunity for students to organise and manage an actual campaign without having to source for funding.

Last year’s teams were prominently featured in many mass media platforms, including television and radio, The Sunday Times, and several full page articles in various popular magazines. This is no doubt a golden opportunity for students to make a name for themselves in the marketing world even before they graduate.
