Create your own innovative marketing campaign to raise HIV/AIDS awareness among your peers with one or more of these key messages:
a) Young people are increasingly becoming infected with Sexually
Transmitted Infections (STIs), including HIV.
b) Avoid high-risk sexual practices such as casual sex, paid sex
and sex with multiple partners as they increase the risk of STI/HIVinfection.
c) Abstaining from high-risk sexual practices is the best defence
against STI/HIV infection.
d) Using condoms correctly and consistently if sexually active can
reduce one’s risk of getting infected by HIV and some other STIs.
e) If one might have put oneself at risk of being infected with STI/HIV,
one should get tested as soon as possible instead of unknowingly
spreading the disease to others.
Note that point (d) cannot be promoted during the campaign/event without mentioning points (b) and (c).
